So I'm absolutely loving this book. My manager Hanane bought it for me haha. It tells things like you shouldn't try to look amazing for dates, because that will play your best card first, and you want to keep excitement by reserving that car, and only give out small doses.
Idk, it's a really cute yet serious book that I see a lot of myself in.

Goodbye Blonde, HELLO Brunette!

Ive always considered my blonde hair a testament to my race, blonde hair, blue eyes, absolute perfection.

I am a natural blonde, but liked to accentuate the colour to be a bit more dramamtic.

Well, I just got sick of the constant head-turning when I entered a building. Its not that its neccessarily a BAD thing, but I just felt like my bright blonde hair was a beacon of homosexual energy.
YUCK!

and besides, who really wants to have an overly dramatic lighthouse on top of their heads right?


I'll probably go back to it in the Summer, but for now, Im back to brunette!

Just saw the most amazing pill box style hat at the antique store.

I could have totally redone it in black.
Then I remembered I live in a town where anything OTHER than a baseball cap is considered "socially unacceptable" for a male.

Isn't it ironic that although I am completely absorbed in fashion and art, an I design many garments, I don't know how to sew!

There is no point in doing drugs.

I just don't understand why kids these days think it's attractive to constantly be under the influence of something .
Ya know? To me, drugs just scream, "I'm such a low-life loser, that I'm miserable all the time; and the only way to escape my pathetic life and become interesting is to light up a joint".
It's ridiculous.

I want people to see the REAL me. I'd rather be an unnaprochable, stuck up, judgmental, narcissistic, overdressed, pessemistic, constant downing BITCH, than a blithering idiot coming down off an acid high.

“There’s a sad lack of glamour in the world today. And there’s absolutely no fantasy.”

I like this quote a lot, however, I don't really agree with the "no fantasy" part.
I think that the world is GIVEN too much fantasy; in the form of movies, animation, etc. People making their OWN fantasy is at an all time low.
